POSITION SUMMARY

Creates a world-class dining experience for all guests who enter our buildings by being experts in hospitality and technical service. Maintains effective communication with all staff, including management, to ensure a consistently great guest experience. Extensive knowledge of all products we have to offer including wine, cocktails, cheese, meats, and dining options.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides exceptional hospitality to all guests through precise timing, flawless execution, and attentive service. Provides a detailed concept dialogue to all first-time diners. Provides a detailed menu tour of both the wine and food menu when necessary. Thorough knowledge of food menus including key ingredients, sauces, allergens, etc. Maintains table cleanliness. Communicates with bussers for extra support to ensure efficient service. Quality checks tables multiple times throughout dining experience. Seats guests when necessary. Delivers product accurately. Assists teammates in delivering products, taking orders, bussing tables, running food when necessary. Thorough knowledge and understanding of wine service. Will perform with less valuable wine and when sommeliers are busy. Handles guest complaints and elevates to management when necessary. Knows service nuances between private event guests vs. everyday restaurant guests. Communicates with kitchen staff on special requests from guests, if an item was made incorrectly, etc. Attends pre-shift to be prepared and setup for shift. Thanks, and invites back all guests in their section. Assists any guest who stops you and has an immediate request. Takes payment including card and cash. You may be called upon from time to time to perform other duties that may not be included in your job description at the management's discretion .
