Cashier/Server

Viva Mexicana is a long-standing, community-loved restaurant in Sebastopol, known for made-from-scratch food, warm hospitality, and vibrant flavors. We are excited to introduce a new Persian dining experience alongside our beloved Mexican menu and are looking for a skilled, polished server to be part of this next chapter. This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with guests, understands service as an experience (not just a transaction), and can move comfortably between casual and elevated dining. Base pay plus pooled tips. We are open from 10-8. We also do catering and special events. What We're Looking For We are seeking a server who is: Elegant and confident in demeanor Comfortable with upselling food, wine, and beer in a natural, guest-focused way Knowledgeable (or eager to learn) about wine, beer, and pairings Warm, personable, and able to build genuine connections with guests Curious and open to learning Persian cuisine , flavors, and cultural elements (experience is a plus, not required)
