About Us:
The Gathering Table is a refined dining destination dedicated to exceptional hospitality, elevated cuisine, and memorable guest experiences. We feature French/Asian fusion led by Chef/Owner Budi Kazali. We are seeking polished, professional servers who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Position Summary:
Servers are responsible for delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to every guest. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, wine and food knowledge, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining poise under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional table service in accordance with fine dining standards Demonstrate expert knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, wine, cocktails, and specials Guide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and reset throughout service Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences Accurately enter orders and process payments using Toast POS systems Uphold cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant preferred Strong food, wine, and cocktail knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Wine certification or sommelier training is a plus
