Head Chef Introduction:

Responsible for serving and/or assisting guests in the restaurant. Cleanliness of restaurant areas, front and back of house. Positively interacting with guests and fellow team members. Be part of our team. Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the hotel and the position, and work cooperatively with all hotel team members.

Duties:

Set tables for in the restaurant according to the standard Assist in servicing the buffet, keep it full and clean Serve meals, plated or buffet, according to proper service standards Interact positively with guests at every event to ensure their satisfaction Clear tables of china, glassware, silverware, service ware, chafers, cloths and other items as assigned Clean back of the house areas Additional sidework or prep work as assigned Communicate with the kitchen when necessary about guest meal needs Take ownership of shifts that you are assigned to service Job Requirements Must be available days, minimum every Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Willingness to train for and work multiple positions, such as breakfast server, evening bar server, starbucks and banquet server Physical requirements: Ability to stand, walk, move without sitting for medium to long periods of time Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds Ability to lift and carry large oval service trays with a minimum of 4 covered plates
