Server/Cashier

Operate POS and credit card/debit card terminals Handle exchanges, payment and refunds in a quick, efficient manner Maintain accurate cash drawer Take a tally of the funds in the POS when required during a shift and produce transaction reports Keep the checkout area clean and orderl Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude. Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Engage with customers in a friendly manner. Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Completed Side work before closing shift Help food preparation staff when necessary etc. Receive and store supplies Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
