Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Support guest services by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and accommodating special requests in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours. Proven ability in upselling menu items to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction. Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not required. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that engages guests positively.
