Job Summary Starting pay:
$12.14 + Tips The Food Server creates an exceptional dining experience by providing warm, attentive, and efficient service to every guest. This role ensures accurate order delivery, maintains strong menu knowledge, and supports smooth restaurant operations while upholding company standards for hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. How You Will Create the Extraordinary Provide warm, genuine, and attentive service to every guest from greeting through departure. Maintain full knowledge of menu items, specials, preparation methods, and any product shortages. Guide guests through the dining experience by presenting menus, suggesting items, assisting with drink selections, and answering questions. Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests clearly to kitchen and bar teams. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy, proper presentation, and guest satisfaction. Monitor tables throughout service, replenishing beverages, removing courses, and anticipating guest needs. Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly. Prepare mixed drinks for guests as required and ensure responsible alcohol service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections, side work areas, and service stations. Adhere to grooming standards, departmental procedures, and all sanitation and health regulations. Demonstrate strong knowledge of POS systems, bar equipment, and restaurant service tools. Address guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary. Complete end‑of‑shift duties including balancing paperwork and preparing the area for the next service. Perform additional duties or special assignments as required. What You Will Need High school diploma or GED. At least one year of food & beverage experience in a high‑volume restaurant. Ability to understand directions and communicate effectively in English. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create positive interactions. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe alcohol service practices. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills . Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and composure. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed. Ability to bend, reach, and handle service items safely. Comfort working in a busy, high‑energy environment with fluctuating demands. Ability to safely handle hot plates, glassware, beverages, and cleaning chemicals. Compliance with all company policies, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and regulatory requirements including Colorado Division of Gaming regulations.
