Responsibilities Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables or designated guest areas with speed and professionalism Verify orders for accuracy before delivery, ensuring all items meet quality standards and presentation expectations Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs of guests Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently Support food safety protocols by handling dishes carefully and adhering to sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events such as banquets or large parties Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Familiarity with food handling, serving techniques, and basic food preparation enhances performance in this role Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for order accuracy and efficiency Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial for supporting large-scale events Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for delivering memorable guest experiences Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices will help ensure compliance and guest satisfaction Experience working in hotel or culinary settings adds valuable insight into high-volume service environments This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
