Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. These allow for the unique experience that you can only get at this resort.
Hourly Rate:
$12.14 plus tips
Position Overview:
Resort Pool Servers play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests visiting the Resort Pool. Resort Pool Servers submit guest menu selections and present these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge, give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine, and drink offerings.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests
Greet guests promptly and courteously as they walk up to the snack bar
Obtain and submit food & beverage orders from guests using POS system
Take orders from guests around the pool and deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met in a timely manner.
Explains menu items and specials and checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
Balance receipts and ensure payment is received from guests.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Follow responsible alcohol service guideline, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
Handle payments accurately using POS system
Report any guest concerns issues to management
Create a positive experience for all guests and exceed expectations when possible
Follow Hyatt Standards in service
Adhere to all safety and health company requirements
Ensure opening, ongoing, and closing side work is complete
Qualifications
Must be 21+ years old
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
