Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or wine pairings Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to prepare for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and sales tracking Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure Experience in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices to uphold health standards Knowledge of hospitality principles including guest services, upselling techniques, and managing guest relations in a fast-paced setting Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, cashiering, and supporting team members Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction processing Join us as a Food Server where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
