The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding serving alcohol. Assist with banquet services or special events as required, ensuring that beverage needs are met promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and fine dining standards. Experience Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality or food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to help guests feel welcome. Familiarity with retail math concepts for managing tabs and processing payments accurately. Basic math skills are essential for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices. Experience using Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided as necessary. Knowledge of banquet service is beneficial for assisting during events.
