Your culinary knowledge, food handling skills, and ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency will be key to delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized service station. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while providing excellent guest relations. Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and attentively. Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales and enhance guest satisfaction. Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures a plus but not required.
