Job Description

Essential Functions Assists the service staff in the service of food for the guests. Ensure service is more efficient and timelier and to guarantee the best possible dining experience for the guest. Completes opening, closing, and side work. Sets up food carts and stations for service. Communicates with and supports all staff to better serve the guests. Deliver food and beverages to guests in an accurate and timely manner. Expo build tickets on food and kitchen line. Monitor each guest's dining experience. Pre-set tables for dining and clear tables for the next course. Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients in relation to common dietary restrictions. Always maintain a clean dining area. Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards. Follow safety and security procedures. Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team. Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations. Adhere to attendance and reliability standards. Follow all additional duties as assigned by management. Skills and Abilities Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel. Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently. Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift regularly. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed for duty assigned and with the use of required tools and equipment. Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow up. Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgment. Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Job Qualifications/Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalence required
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in similar role
Additional:
