Duties Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience through excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments using POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow. Manage reservations and guest seating through platforms like OpenTable, optimizing table turnover during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in various settings including fine dining environments or lively nightclubs. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving, bussing, or hosting roles. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
