Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and delivers exceptional service in a lively and fast-paced environment. Your culinary knowledge and food industry experience will help ensure smooth operations, while your sales skills and upselling techniques will enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about food service, guest relations, and creating a vibrant atmosphere in both fine dining and nightlife settings. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness and efficiency Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like Square Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and address any guest concerns promptly Support guest relations by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with Square is a plus Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively and foster positive relationships Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment; multitasking skills are essential Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; background in hospitality or guest services is beneficial Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in restaurant settings Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences through outstanding service.
