The Role:

You are the face of TAVA House, bringing our culinary vision to life for every guest who walks through the doors. We aren't looking for order-takers; we are looking for hospitality professionals with a fine-tuned sense of emotional intelligence (EQ) and the magnetic energy to light up a room. Because we operate a dynamic, multi-concept venue, you will be an integral part of a fluid, highly adaptable team where versatility is your superpower. You might start your week guiding guests through a high-end, curated dinner at Firebrand, shift gears to bring high-energy, fast-paced service to the TAVA Taproom, and finish by seamlessly executing a flawless 200-person gala in the River Room. Because we operate as one cohesive unit, you never hesitate to jump behind the bar to pour a pint when the tickets pile up, or step in to help clear the dish pit. You adapt to the environment, read your guests effortlessly, and put your ego aside to ensure the entire house operates at an award-winning level.

Compensation:

Base Wage:

Note:

We do not take a tip credit. We operate on a strict "One House, One Team" philosophy. Tips are pooled and shared across the entire department—including our hardworking kitchen crew. We believe that a flawless guest experience is forged by the front and back of house working in total lockstep, and our compensation model reflects that. When the house wins, everybody wins.

What You Bring:

2+ years of serving experience in high-volume, dynamic restaurant environments (fine dining experience is a massive plus). A highly developed sense of EQ—you can read a table instantly, knowing precisely when to be an engaging storyteller and when to provide invisible, flawless service. A vibrant, infectious energy that elevates the atmosphere and creates a memorable experience for the guests. The agility and willingness to wear "many hats," shifting seamlessly across all three concepts: Firebrand, TAVA Taproom, and the River Room. The competency and willingness to step behind the bar and support our beverage program. An eagerness to jump in and assist our dishwashers and stewards—the absolute MVPs of our operation—because you know service grinds to a halt without them. Absolute buy-in to our shared-tip, one-team culture. You recognize that the dishwasher and the line cook are just as vital to your tip as your smile is. A collaborative, ego-free mindset with a deep commitment to supporting your teammates across the entire building. Deep knowledge (or a fierce eagerness to learn) about elevated food, craft cocktails, and wine.

Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active on your feet for extended shifts.

Strength & Handling:

Ability to safely lift 30+ lbs. Must be able to carry heavily loaded service trays, bus tubs, and glassware with balance and precision.

Agility & Pace:

Must possess the physical coordination to navigate quickly through crowded dining rooms, seamlessly pivoting from the refined, deliberate pace of a steakhouse to the bustling, high-volume energy of a taproom.
