Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator that creates memorable experiences for our customers. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with precision and integrity. Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and food prep stations by bussing tables and cleaning as needed. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations. Assist in basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Experience Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Culinary experience or background working in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or food industry setting is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking, time management, and quick decision-making.
