Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in a lively dining environment. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring their satisfaction from the moment they arrive until their departure. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude that energizes the team. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options to enhance the dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication between the kitchen and front of house Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and provide receipts with professionalism Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing and sales tracking Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to engage guests positively Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or bartending is highly desirable Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus to better understand menu items and food preparation processes Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality.
