Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with confidence and enthusiasm Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or wine pairings Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering positive relationships throughout the dining experience Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and balance cash drawers at shift end Requirements Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous Strong communication skills along with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier service!
