Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure tables are clean, set correctly, and prepared for incoming guests. Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide receipts as required. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety standards to answer guest questions confidently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues swiftly. Assist with setting up the dining area before service and cleaning after closing hours. Provide excellent guest services by attending to guest needs promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately. Experience in serving or kitchen roles, including culinary experience or food preparation, is desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for guest service and creating a positive dining atmosphere.
