In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring timely delivery of food, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and assisting servers to deliver exceptional guest service. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations. Responsibilities Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area throughout service. Assist servers with guest needs, including refilling drinks and responding to requests with a friendly attitude. Support food handling and safety procedures by following proper sanitation protocols at all times. Maintain communication with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using clear, professional language. Help set up banquet or special event areas as needed, ensuring all supplies are in place for smooth service. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in dining areas, restrooms, and service stations to promote guest safety and comfort. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but is not mandatory; training will be provided. Experience in bussing or supporting banquet events can be advantageous. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for delivering excellent guest service. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Prior kitchen or hotel experience is beneficial but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
