Host to work in a team-oriented, upscale yet casual restaurant with a broad clientele to support Hands on Hartford's innovative restaurant Gather55 by greeting all who come by and addressing any areas of concern. Why Work at

Hands On Hartford:

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Hartford, Hands On Hartford, in partnership with others, strengthens community in Hartford by responding faithfully to people in need through programs that change lives and renew human possibility. We're a 55-year old nonprofit that values team work, and takes a strengths-based, harm reduction, collaborative approach to all we do.

When:

16 hours per week Evenings Wednesday through Saturday. Hours approximately 5:00pm-9:00pm.

Pay:

Range $17.00-$19.00 per hour. As the Gather55 Host/Server, you will do many things including, but not limited to:

• Demonstrating genuine hospitality and set the stage for an exceptional dining experience by welcoming all who come through our doors.
• Seating guests and being a first point of contact for diners
• Utilizing your knowledge to describe the uniqueness of the Gather55 model to diners.
• Checking on the front of the building and the parking area throughout the evening.
• Assisting in service staff with front of house activities. This could be the position for you if you:
