The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a server/counter, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurate and timely. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout the service process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests effectively. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary experience when required. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory, particularly in quick service or fast food settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential. Experience in bussing, cashiering, or retail math is beneficial but not mandatory.
