Overview Join our vibrant team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage tables by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness throughout service Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and providing exceptional customer service Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in high-energy settings such as nightclubs or fine dining venues Skills Proven experience with POS systems such as Square, Toast, or similar platforms Strong culinary knowledge and food industry experience, including food preparation and food handling standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence Ability to work in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining restaurants while maintaining professionalism Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations applicable in restaurant settings Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is a plus Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and kitchen staff seamlessly Join us today to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
