Overview Join our vibrant team as a Waiter and become the heart of an energetic dining experience! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. With your culinary knowledge and sales skills, you'll help create memorable moments that keep guests coming back for more. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while honing your food service expertise. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables efficiently Familiarity with food handling safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for billing purposes Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or food preparation is highly desirable Knowledge of the food industry trends and guest relations techniques to enhance the dining experience Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
