Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role combines the art of exceptional customer service with efficient food and beverage handling, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Whether taking orders, serving food, or managing transactions, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant hospitality environment. Your culinary knowledge and POS (Point of Sale) system expertise will help streamline operations and elevate guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, fine dining or lively nightclub setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS system ensuring special requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently with POS systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and math calculations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and versatility. Support guest relations by resolving concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs; prior host/hostess experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts. Previous experience in serving, bussing, or supporting kitchen operations demonstrates versatility within the food industry.
