Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience by delivering exceptional service, ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive until they leave satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess strong food industry knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for hospitality that shines through every interaction. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing reservation systems such as OpenTable when applicable. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff. Provide detailed menu descriptions, upselling specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety throughout service. Manage Toast POS for order entry, payment processing, and cash handling with precision. Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure the dining area remains inviting at all times. Build positive guest relations by delivering attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs or bars. Requirements Fluent in Spanish and English. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills coupled with effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
