Whether managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, or assisting with food delivery, you'll play a vital part in delivering outstanding guest services Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through the seating process Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages Assist servers by delivering food to tables promptly and accurately as a runner, maintaining high service standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to promote a welcoming environment Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or menu options Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guests feel valued throughout their visit Requirements •please note, we do not hire summer help Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and guest interaction Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Previous restaurant experience, including guest services or serving roles, is a plus Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent hospitality standards Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor Experience working in hotels or hospitality Join us if you're passionate about creating joyful dining experiences!
