Job Description
Job Summary We're on the lookout for friendly, energetic Servers to join our dynamic team at a lively restaurant environment. As a Server, you'll be the face of the restaurant, creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent service and a welcoming attitude. You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch guest service, taking orders, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks, desserts, or appetizers to enhance guest experience. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Handle sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety procedures to ensure a clean dining environment. Support team members with bussing tables, resetting tables quickly during busy hours, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred; experience with restaurant POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food safety standards enhances your ability to serve confidently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
