Job Description
At 1754 House, hospitality is at the center of everything we do. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Food Runner / Expediter to join our team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced, polished restaurant environment. This position plays a key role in connecting the kitchen and dining room — ensuring dishes are accurate, beautifully presented, and delivered efficiently while maintaining strong communication between the culinary and front-of-house teams. Responsibilities Run food from the kitchen to guests promptly and professionally Ensure plates are accurate, complete, and presented properly before leaving the kitchen Communicate clearly with chefs, servers, bartenders, and management Assist in organizing tickets and coordinating timing during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service areas Support servers and assist with guest needs throughout service Learn menu items, ingredients, and presentation standards Help create a smooth, upbeat, team-oriented service environment Qualifications Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy services Team player with strong communication skills Ability to stand and move for extended periods Restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tipped income opportunities Flexible scheduling Supportive, team-driven environment Opportunity for growth within the company Employee dining discounts Experience working in a respected restaurant and event venue environment This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within hospitality and be part of a passionate, professional team.
