This role combines exceptional customer service with a passion for fine wines and food in an elevated nighttime bar environment. Front of house workers engage with guests, recommend wine pairings, and ensure seamless service. Your energy and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again. -Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the dining experience with attentive service. Take accurate orders using Toast POS system, ensuring quick and precise entry. Recommend wine pairings and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver exceptional guest service in a fine dining atmosphere. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining POS system integrity. Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. -Qualifications Experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or upscale environments. Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and providing exceptional customer service. A strong foundation in wine-based service; knowledge of wine varietals and proper serving techniques is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
