In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Process payments using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently. Assist in food preparation and ensure that food handling standards are met. Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Provide assistance in other areas of the restaurant as needed, contributing to a team-oriented environment. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or grocery store setting. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Skills in food preparation and kitchen operations are beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are required.
