DND Kava Bar is a fast-paced, high-energy environment built on consistency, cleanliness, and great customer experience. We specialize in kava and K teas and take pride in maintaining a strong standard across everything we do.

Position Overview:

We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals who take pride in their work and can maintain high standards throughout their entire shift. This is an active role — you are expected to stay productive, keep your area clean, contribute to the overall flow of the bar, and confidently engage with customers to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve kava and K teas quickly and consistently Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times Follow opening and closing procedures exactly as trained Stay productive during downtime (cleaning, restocking, organizing) Provide direct, respectful, and attentive customer service Recommend drinks, upsell products, and create a strong sales experience Handle transactions and manage tabs accurately Ensure compliance with age requirements and house policies Maintain strong awareness of cleanliness, presentation, and workflow

Requirements:

Must be reliable and consistently on time Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and confidence interacting with customers Ability to drive sales through recommendations and upselling High attention to cleanliness and organization Ability to take direction and follow established standards Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude Previous bar or customer service experience is a plus (not required)
