Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of service and food safety. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any needs or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
