This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering prompt, polished service. The Food Runner will be responsible for efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and presentation standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the front-of-house team and contributing to a seamless dining experience.
What You Do:
Warmly greet and acknowledge all guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere in line with company standards. Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and promptly, ensuring that all orders meet guest expectations. Set and clear tables for service, maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the dining area. Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed, providing support during busy periods to ensure efficient service. Adhere to company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management, and complete all required safety training. Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors to support overall operations. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the
Table:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is required. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to speak English fluently and interact effectively with both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in alignment with company standards. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed. Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
