The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of food to guests, maintaining a smooth dining experience, and supporting the overall service team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality, food service, and guest relations, whether you're just starting out or bringing prior restaurant experience. A strong focus on food safety and customer service is essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing support during busy service periods. Handle food handling duties with attention to safety and sanitation standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas throughout shifts. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order accuracy when required. Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and kitchen staff. Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume service times. Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly demeanor. Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality can be advantageous. Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting food prep tasks.
