Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the standards of our establishment. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety. Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations during payment processing. Requirements 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is highly advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required. ServSafe Certification is required, but if not applicable we will assist in completing. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed in the hospitality industry.
