Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service from seating to farewell. Take accurate orders using POS systems and communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment. Support other team members by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and helping with food preparation when needed. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations. OpenTable experience or similar reservation management tools is advantageous but not required.
