Job Objective/ Summary The responsibility of Wait Staff is to facilitate food service, such as taking food orders, cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing soiled table lines, and setting tables. This role is also responsible for replenishing supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and serve items such as food, water, condiments, and coffee to residents and guests. Essential Functions Serve food, beverages, and desserts to residents in the dining room. Replenish foods at serving stations. Brew coffee and tea, and fill containers with requested beverages. Take residents' orders, write ordered items on tickets, and input order into the point of sale system. Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths. Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies. Stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning. Adhere to cleaning and sanitation list for assigned stations. Adheres to The Estates at Carpenters' policies and procedures, including those covering privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and codes of conduct. Maintains confidentiality and respects resident's privacy at all times in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Other Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates the values of The Estates atCarpenters:

Dresses appropriately, following appropriate dress and uniform policies and guidelines. Must be able to maintain consistent attendance as per job requirements and policies. Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience None. Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Service Orientation- actively looking for ways to help people.
