Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Clover POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean, inviting environment Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and payments Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and maximize restaurant capacity Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving, host/hostess duties, or bartending is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is highly desirable but not required.
