Job Description
Fully tipped position, earnings of wage and tips average 20+ an hour. It is perfectly fine to just come in and interview without an appointment. Most of our new hires have been walk in candidates. Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. This position may be filled by multiple part time persons, so if you have limited days or nights please apply as it may be a perfect fit Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash and process transactions accurately at the register. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, including food handling and sanitation practices. Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance customer experience. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in a grocery store, restaurant, or similar environment is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting. Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic culinary skills are a plus for assisting in the kitchen when necessary. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during peak hours.
