Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product demos, and assisting with product selection Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stocking, product rotation, and stock replenishment Demonstrate strong communication skills by engaging customers professionally via phone etiquette and in person Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred, especially grocery store experience Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and promoting store products Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
