Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient service from the moment they step in. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize flow and guest experience. Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to kitchen staff, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring guest needs are met promptly and courteously. Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns with a positive attitude, and maintain excellent guest relations throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and service stations in compliance with health standards. Assist with phone etiquette by answering reservation calls and providing information about the menu or restaurant services. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or server in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Previous restaurant experience including serving duties is highly desirable. Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest services, hotel experience, or similar roles is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Good phone etiquette and guest relations skills to ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued.
