Job Description
Lampu Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi | Mount Dora, FL Join the Lampu team as a Server and help create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We're looking for energetic, personable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing outstanding customer service. As a server, you'll be responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and working closely with our kitchen and hibachi chefs to ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Learn and confidently explain menu items, including sushi, hibachi, specialty rolls, and daily specials Accurately take food and beverage orders using our POS system Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring order accuracy Anticipate guest needs and provide excellent hospitality from start to finish Upsell menu items, specialty beverages, desserts, and featured promotions Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work responsibilities Assist with table resetting, bussing, and maintaining a smooth dining room flow Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly Work collaboratively with hosts, bussers, sushi chefs, hibachi chefs, and management to provide a seamless guest experience Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies Qualifications Previous serving or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods Must be 18 Years or older What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus tips Flexible scheduling Training and growth opportunities Supportive team environment Employee meal discounts
