Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Handle food service responsibilities including food handling, food preparation assistance, and bussing tables efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food presentation and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining or nightlife venues Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively using sales techniques Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and bill splitting Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
