Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Process payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Experience with food service operations, including fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential. Previous restaurant experience preferred, including roles as host/host or bussing.
