Duties Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes for service. Handle food handling responsibilities safely and in accordance with food safety standards. Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately. Help with banquet setup and service to ensure seamless catering events. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing. Support delivery drivers by organizing takeout orders and ensuring timely delivery when needed. Skills Previous kitchen experience or food preparation skills are highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is a plus. Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly using cashiering systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Knowledge of food safety practices, dietary accommodations, and proper food handling procedures. Effective communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to foster guest satisfaction and teamwork. Experience with coffee making, barista duties, knife skills, meat cutting, or culinary tasks is advantageous but not required.
