Food Server

Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed descriptions of food and beverages Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, adhering to food safety protocols Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support team members during busy periods, including night shifts or nightclub service when applicable Requirements Previous experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred; experience with restaurant POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or evening shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or restaurant setting Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance Ability to handle food safely and support food handling or preparation tasks when required Join our team if you are passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences through exceptional service, attention to detail, and a welcoming attitude.

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
