Job Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food service flows smoothly and guests feel welcomed and cared for. Your proactive approach will help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment, allowing our culinary team to shine and guests to enjoy memorable moments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations within a lively hospitality setting. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables with accuracy and care. Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including bus stations, dining rooms, and storage spaces. Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, adhering to safety protocols and hygiene standards. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order accuracy and guest transactions when required. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction. Support banquet or special event setups by bussing tables and assisting with food distribution as needed. Uphold excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly attitude. Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with food handling, bussing, or serving roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position. Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food delivery tasks. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating effectively with team members and providing excellent guest service. Hotel or banquet experience is advantageous for understanding large-scale event setups and service standards. A commitment to food safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations and promotes guest trust.
