Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner and Guest Service Associate, where your energy and hospitality skills will elevate the dining experience for every guest. Duties Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to maintain a smooth flow of service. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to ensure quality presentation. Handle food handling responsibilities safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately when required. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service delivery. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing trays, organizing supplies, and ensuring a tidy workspace. Provide exceptional guest services by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests with professionalism. Assist with banquet or large group events by managing food delivery and setup efficiently. Support overall restaurant operations through teamwork, positive attitude, and proactive problem-solving. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable. Experience with POS systems such as Square POS Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with serving, bussing, or kitchen support roles enhances your candidacy. Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial for understanding guest needs and providing excellent service. A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences are key qualities for success in this role.
